THE DAVE BURDETT TROPHY PAIRS SNOOKER
Welcome to the Dave Burdett Trophy Pairs Snooker competition page. This competition began in 2010 following the demise of the DRS Pairs competition after the 2009 season. It follows in the footsteps of the Turnbull-Mazda Pairs (who sponsored the event from 1996) which was previously known as the Haws-Citreon Pairs.
The competition will be played using the traditional format of the winners of each club's Pairs competitions competing against each other over best of 3 frames with a final to be held in March each season. To add a new dimension to the tournament, handicapping will be used for the first time. This will be done by taking the average of the pairs' league handicaps. Here you will find the fixtures and results from each round of the each years competition since 2010.
